sparks
its 2008! hahaha happy new year everyone! had hell of a celebration this year, and lots of people to thank.. so this will be a super long entry!
haha went to office and had a half day.. then went cineleisure to get icecream. headed to baby's place after that then set off for suntec to meet his friends.. hoho pictures of things we did when i get them from baby okie!

haha sorry for the horrid pictures of me, but hes still so cute though.. oops, me in my world.. haha! anyway, had dinner buffet at siam kitchen and then headed to marina bay to catch the fireworks! you know the steamboat place? and omg when we reached, the place was already damn packed! hahaha and everywhere was abandoned and deserted, so we went exploring, to find a place high up to view the fireworks, just to make sure nothing blocks so many of us later..
and then... baby and me went to the back of this abandoned spa place and climbed up these flights of broken staircases.. and it was so freaking dark! no light at all.. haha anyway, we found many rooms and went back to tell the others la.. so baby n his friend went back to check out the rooms.....
haha they kinda found a room with an opened window (which used to be a toilet by the way), so we all went up.. whoohoo, everywhere was pitch dark man, and the gfs were scared to explore.. haha so one of them stayed outside and another hugged her bf while walking with us..
woots~ and you know what, the whole level was like a maze, and couple of the rooms had huge wall mirrors, like a ktv.. cool place i tell you, looks like scenes from "i am legend", and anytime thered be vampires jumping out at us.. or when you shine a beam into one room, thered be a face looking back at you.. (eeks!) =D exciting.. and finally, after much exploring, they found a roof access! hahaha so cool, so we climbed up and sat on the roof (bums covered with rust after that..) to wait for the fireworks to start.. what a different way to countdown, and no alcohol! haha!

and yes, the fireworks were beautiful.. definitely a nice way to spend new year countdown with people you love.. =)
after the fireworks and taking of more pictures, four of us actually walked from marina bay to lau pa sat.. omg la.. haha cos the traffic was horrendous.. and yes, after the super long and confusing walk, we were half dead.. sat for awhile and had some drinks (dehydrating man..), and then they had no plans, so baby sent me home..
on the way back, he said some things which made me realise how important i am.. and so now i know, i was right to give him my heart.. =)
and that was definitely a perfect way of ending 2007, and stepping into year 2008 together..

oh well, went to baby's place today again.. and this time, after like more than a year, i saw his mum for the first time.. haha.. i was freaking nervous when she opened the door for me.. freaked. haha.
barely 6 hours, and yes i miss him again.. haha it was kinda weird hearing him saying some things recently.. but it was awesomely pleasing to the ears. still is pleasing, actually. cos he makes me feel valued and prioritised. =)
of course, i owe my almost perfect life now (except for the some-people-still-owe-me-money part), to many people. people who have made me who i am today. =)
angel, shunnan, liyin, limin, miaoyue, fangting, jianping, leoana, tingting, jeananne, serene, yani, yenlyng, danlin, jieying, shiqin, baoxian, yeesoo, huiyian, xiaohong, zhenjie, my mum and dad, my stupid sister, starion, my cousin sida, and many many more..
so hard to credit everyone but i wish everyone a happy new year 2008. live life the way they want it, do things they want to do, and most importantly, always be happy.. =)
to those extremely important ones (you know who you are), thank you all so much for being there when i needed a shoulder, a hug, or a listening ear. id never be able to walk through this path without you guys, walking by my side.. and also, thank you too, for coming to me when like me, you needed a shoulder, a hug or a listening ear. and thanks for all the joy and laughter we've all shared..

to my conservative parents, thank you for all the scoldings that ive endured, all the tears ive shed because of unreasonable treatment. without these, i would never have become this independent girl now. every new year, is a year of forgiveness and more love. i know we'd have all these this year. =)

to my stupid sister, thanks for being there when i needed to talk or cry. and to come to me for help when you needed it. for all the childish and stupid moments we share, and for listening to me giggling and watching me grin when talking about weicheng.
